i'm using mIRC under winXP.
i found step-by-step instructions for sending japanese text via mIRC on http://home.comcast.net/~kagamix2/b-games/japanese_text.html but i they don't seem to work for me.

the people i'm most trying to send to are using japese versions of windows...

any help would be appreciated.

Do you have japanese text in your computer as default language? if not, then i belive mIRC using your lnguage, and that means windows dont suport japanese chars.. "i think"

i followed the site i linked to the letter.
when i enter japanese text, i can read what's sent, but nobody else can...
