When I receive a file from someone is there a way to stop it from changing the focus to the transferring file and instead just remain where I am (mostly in a chat channel)?
If 'Auto-get file' is selected, check the box next to it that says 'minimize'.
If 'Show get dialog' is selected, next time you receive a file, check the box near the bottom that says 'Minimize window'. You only need to do it once.
