Hello,

I'd like to be able to highlight text in the channel window copy and then paste it to the command line. Highlight @nick then copy and paste to the command line to receive the file?
Basically I know I'm saying I'm lazy, but hey, why retype it if I don't have to?

also check the "Text mark/copy keys" section of:

/help Key Combinations

Note that if your pasted text contains a line-ending character, the paste action will also behave as if you pressed 'ENTER', unless you change options/display/options/"editbox lines" to automatic.

Thanks, the key phrase that I missed earlier in the help was this.
"The moment you release the left mouse-button, the text will be copied into the clipboard."
