Someone sent me a file and I accepted it. But after then it's "unable to connect" and the transfer is failed. Then a Msg comes with this " *** You have a DCC pending, Set your client to receive the transfer. (150 seconds remaining until timeout)" and the timeout timed out. I can't do anything to receive a file. I dont have firewalls or stuff like that. Anyone knows a solution? Thanks
It is possible that the person sending it is the one that has the problem. It seems that they have the host lookup setup wrong causing it to give you the wrong ip. If you want to verify this, you can type /debug @debug then try and receive the file, if it doesn't work, paste everything from the @debug window here.
sometimes it works sometimes not, but "*** You have a DCC pending, Set your client to receive the transfer." should mean i have to configure something or not? How can I set my client to receive transfer?
And I'm getting often a "Timed Out"-Message after the time for "*** You have a DCC pending, Set your client to receive the transfer." runs out without seeing a transfer window? how's that possible? damn....
If you're not seeing a transfer window at all, go to options .. dcc .. folders .. select (under dcc ignore) ignore all except .. then add the extensions that you want to download ( *.zip or *.jpg ) for example )
New guy here,
I'm getting the same problem,
and when I use the /debug @debug
I get a lot of text.
Want me to paste the whole thing here for you?
Note:
I have two items qued,
would this be part of the problem?
Thanks in advance,
There could be several factors involved, since this question has been asked and answered roughly a bazillion times, please use our search feature, set it to all forums, expand the date range and use dcc pending as search term.
