Is Mirc coming out with a new version for windows 7. On the download page it is not listed as an operating system. I'm so confused. I have a new computer but haven't set it up yet because of this question.
Any help appreciated!!
We don't know is new mIRC coming with new operating system, however, mIRC WILL work on Windows 7, but it will be referred as Vista from $os.
Khaled has stated that there is a newer version being worked on, and I would be very surprised if it wasn't set to work with Windows 7 and the various differences that Windows 7 requires, as well as maintaining compatibility with earlier versions of mIRC and Windows.
As to when the next version will be out, which I know you didn't ask, but is probably something you're wondering about, like the rest of us, all you can do is wait.

To put this straight (hopefully):
Apart from a couple of minor glitches and non-critical bugs, and although released prior to Windows 7, the latest available mIRC version is working on Windows 7.
You might browse the bug reports forum to see which w7-related issues are known as yet; previous occasions showed that Khaled will try to fix all these bugs/glitches in the next version(s) of mIRC.
I need help with getting mIRC to work with Windows 7. Sometimes it works fine no problems, but other days, like today, it keeps crashing on me. I had no problems with it under WinXP but have been have crashing issue's with Win 7. I just get the standard Windows error that the program has stopped working. Is there any fixes out there for it? Please Help!
Possibly you have scripts that use dlls.
Try a clean mirc first and then start adding addon by addon, until you find the nasty one
