Ok so I'm new to the forum so please be gentle :),

Is there a way to hide/close the status window in v6.35? I am a member of quite a few channels and I only really want to see the chat windows. I am also extremely new to scripting so anything pre complied that I only have to copy (with a dummy guide) would be really helpful.
I know this has probably been asked before but I can't seem to find anything through the search function.

Look at the /window command (/help /window)
//window -h "status window" > will hide the status window
//window -w0 "status window" will hide the window in the switchbar/treebar
