My highlight doesn't work, help.
Currently using mIRC v6.34

Is it a specific highlight that won't work, or every highlight definition added in the "address book"?

Maybe the problem can be tracked down if you post
- What kind of highlight you want to achieve (on what word; color the line?; play a sound?; ...)
- Your current highlight settings/definitions. You can output them with the following command to mIRCs status window (type or paste it in any mIRC window):

No beep no warning, nothing.

I'm trying to make it pop up a warning when I get highlighted if my name is used and make it beep once. I need it for two/three names/nicknames.

Yes this you can do it from the "Highlight" menu from mIRC just use : ALT+B , Go into "Highlight" menu and click into the "Add" button and write there $me after that select your "Match on:" your "Color" and if you want a tip message select the "Tip message" and write your tip message, if you want any sound just click into the "Sound" button and select your sound, after that all press the "OK" button and don't forget to select the "Enable Highlight".

Tried again, didn't work.
This is kind of a last resort thing, for me. :P.
I'm currently using a highlight script with regex BUT, it doesn't beep, though. And the script works o_O.

I'm having the same problem.

Highlight doesn't work accept my own nick.

What does work is:

* channel highlight in switch/treebar.
* Nick highlight in nicklist.
* Nick highlight in message and listbox of ONLY my own nick!!

What doens't work is OTHER USERS/NICKS highlight in message or nickname in channel.

I tried everything by reinstalling stuff removing extra scripts (not that many and no scripts that could cause this)
Cleaned up nick colors in address book and highlight , readded them but it doesn't seem to work else then my own nick.
