Most recent mIRC has buffer issues - mIRC Discussion Forums

Just to establish... I've got 4 gb of ram, so that's not the problem here.

In previous versions of mIRC, I could set the buffer to something like 10,000 lines with no issues. In the most recent mIRC, I can set it to whatever I want, but it only really buffers 750 lines. I counted.

Why in the world does it do this?

Works fine here. Buffer set to 8000 and a /savebuf and $lines() gives me 8000.

do you have a list of all the mirc.exe MD5s?

I got mIRC from mirc.com.

Bump, I'm still greatly annoyed by this issue.

What exact problem are you experiencing? How can I recreate the issue you are having?
