v6.33 - right-click on name disabled? - mIRC Discussion Forums

Hi,

I've installed version 6.33 but I can't right-click on names and perform op, deop whois etc.

How do I change this?

also, im not sure if im supposed to have anything in the popup.ini section of my scripts by default, but i have nothing in there. is that the problem or can i fix it some other way!

I long for 6.32!

Is there anywhere I can download the standard scripts files and then place them into my mirc folder. ive tried reinstalling mirc but each time there's alias.ini no popups.ini that appears in the mirc window (though there is an aliases.ini and popups.ini in my mirc folder)

If the file exists but just isn't loaded then you just need to load it. Open the Script Editor and go to the Popups menu (Alt+P), then go to File > Load in the menubar and point it at the correct popups.ini file.

Note that you'll have to do this once for each popups 'section' that's unloaded (ie. If your Status Window right-click is gone to you'll have to go to View > Status and load popups.ini for that section too).

i installed v6.32 again and have the slap function among others all back.

but my popups.ini file looks like this (there's no mention of slaps or anything)

I would very much appreciate it if someone could paste what the popups.ini file should read so I can begin to add my own slaps for instance to the script.

That's the Status Window section of popups.ini. There should be another section labelled [lpopup] which is for the nicklist which defaults to having the "troutslap" feature. mIRC loads the correct section if you go to View > Nick List in the Scripts Editor and then load popups.ini.
