mIRC works just fine on Linux, just use wine

I don't know about "just fine" - many people experience crashes when opening the script editor and there are numerous other usability issues that can come up depending on which version of mIRC and Wine are being used.

Personally I find mIRC 6.21 to work best with Wine.

ok let me rephrase that fedora 7 fedora 8 and centos5.2 all work as advertised with wine and mirc 6.2/6.21. Dont know about other distros.

You can add Xandros to that list, for the most part.. There is a small problem (imo) with the script editor, but it's a matter of the displayed font size showing a little bit bigger than the line size. Eg: If the line number in the script editor looks like it's 10 points, then the code looks like it's about 11 points.

This is the case with all versions of mIRC from 6.2 to current.
