Ever since I downloaded the latest version of MIRC, I can view text in my status window, but i can't view any text in any chats, nor the list of names in the listboxes. It's just a blank window... I can tell that people are typing, but it's not showing! Can anyone please tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it? My nick is registered, that wasn't the problem... Please help! Thanks to anyone who is willing to attempt this issue!

When I enter a message, I can see it in the entry box. Then when I press enter to send it to the chat, it disappears. I can't tell whether others see it, because I can't see anyone else chatting. I know people are, because the chat highlights the way it usually does, I just can't see it.
I downloaded from the MIRC website download link. I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling, to no avail.

Try typing /!remote off
