In the Tools/Options/IRC/Messages I have set the timestamp to: m/d ddd h:mm tt It reads in the format that I want (2/22 Fri 2:02 am)but the problem is the minute stays the same??? It always reads :02 after the hour. This is the same format I had on previous versions and it worked fine. It only started doing this after I loaded 6.31. Is there an easy way to fix this? I am not into coding so I am pretty much limited to what I can do in the Tool section:(

m & mm are month place holders. Look at 'nn'. See also /help $asctime for the full list.

Thanks Bekar, Something so simple. I just couldn't see it for looking. I don't know how many times I went over it even changing the order and making the same mistake each time. Stand too close to the tree and can't see the forest thing...
