I have searched the forums and I've read the FAQ and I don't really understand where to put these command line parameters. Do i put the command line in the installation exe or the regular program exe? I've done the trial and error thing and every time I put the -nouninst in either the installation shortcut or regular shortcut it still puts the uninstall file in the add/remove programs menu. I am trying to get this installed to my flash drive without getting an uninstall file on my PC. Also where do I put the -portable command line as well. I need specifics. I am computer savvy just not good with command line stuff. Thanks!
Add them to the Target field in your mIRC shortcut properties.

Example..

Before
Target: "C:\Program Files\mIRC\mirc.exe"

After
Target: "C:\Program Files\mIRC\mirc.exe" -nouninst -portable

Perhaps the uninstall entry already existed from a previous run
while not using the command line switch? mIRC adds this to
the registry everytime it is run without the -nouninst switch.
