I searched through the forum but could not find an answer, so please forgive me if this question has long ago been asked and answered.

I recently registered for mIRC and received my license information which contains my (real)name and the registration code.

My question is simply, does this information show up anywhere that others can see when using mIRC to chat?

No, I doubt anyone can access this information, I'm pretty sure you're safe there

The only place anyone would see your name is if they are at your computer and go to the Help > About mIRC popup, which will tell you that it's registered to you. This information is never sent out, so that's the only way for someone to see it. And if someone is at your computer, then they probably know your name already.
