mIRC Homepage
I just registered my own channel for some friends and was wondering how to give them different levels of OP access, and how they can give others access everytime I try it says this

[1:36pm] -> *chanserv* ACCESS #malevolence ADD nick 10
[1:36pm] -ChanServ- You can't use this command.
[1:36pm] -ChanServ- Use the AOP, SOP and VOP commands instead.
[1:36pm] -ChanServ- Type /msg ChanServ HELP command for more information.

I also wanna know to change the topc by saying @up and the topic will say "Server is currently up" or @down and the topic says "Server is currently down"

and such ty smile
1. ChanServ has nothing to do with mIRC. You will need to seek help in the network help channel, usually #help.

2. To make mIRC react to text you need to use an onTEXT and/or onINPUT events.

/help on text
/help on input

Chanserv basically has two types of access options..one is using the access and levels commands, the other is using the AOP, SOP, & VOP commands

For more help with chanserv type /msg chanserv help

For more detailed help use /msg chanserv <topic> help

The available topics will be listed from the first help command I gave.

If you're still having trouble understanding how to use chanserv, join the help channel for your network (usually #help) and ask there.
