ok, I have an IRC channel and have my own 'L' bot in there. Each time I enter the channel I get Authed, as I have set it up in my preform to do that. now, there is a user who uses the channel, who idles in there 24/7 and always seems to have Auth for some reason. Even when I kick him or try banning him, he comes straight back in and gets Authed. What I want to do is make it so he cant get Auth again as I want my own channel op in there. Is there a way I can stop himm idling in there and getting channell op status?

if you are the channel founder you have access to the answers found there
It is a bit difficult to answer - but I try anyway. Generally spoken a user can only get operator status (@) if he has somehow permssion. This can be given in several ways:
The user has
- an entry in the channel database if the network has channel services bots like ChanServ, X, ChanOP etc
- an entry in an eggdrop bot, where he has been added
- the password for the above options
There are some major rules to prevent such things as you described above
- Never give your password to anyone
- Add only trusted people to the operators list
- Always type messages containing your password in the Status window
