MIRC freezing pc - 30/09/05 01:37 AM
When I run MIRC and downloading, after 10 - 30 min it freezes my pc. What is the cause of this.

Are you downloading through mIRC or something external to it?

I'm useing MIRC 6.14 to download straight to my pc, nothing else. It for some reason just freezes after a short time.

No I'm not using a router, connected direct.

what type of connection? dsl? (in which case you almost always have a router even if it is in the modem), cable (you well could have a router still), dialup (you dont unless the modem is on another pc)
Oh and Id suggest you use mirc 6.16 since thats the latest release, if an earlier version doesnt work. And if you say your scripts dont work with 6.16, well then i point the finger at your frezzes to the scripts you have.

I have ADSL, phone. I downloaded 6.16 and giving it a try. I also have TMD Recruit Pack installed, might be causing the prob. also. going to do some troubleshooting. but thanks

Drop that TMD junk and see if you still have problems.
