well i group of people i know want to get a dice script in our channel and voted me to get it and set it up but i dont even know where to start. i d/l'ed a couple scripts txt. and .mrc files and i cant get them to work if someone has a good dice script that supports d100 and could tell me how to set it up it would be greatly apperachated
This should've been placed in the Scripts & Pop-ups section of the forum. As to a dice script, I'd need more details as to how it's to workin order to write one.
You state that you already have downloaded a couple but can't get them to work. Are you trying to run more than one of these scripts at the same time? If so, that could be why.
If not, in reference to the .mrc files, are you loading the file up using /load -rs <filename>
If you aren't then that's a likely reason for the script to not work.
Are you trying to run a script on the same client that you use for chatting? If so, then you might not be able to use the script commands, but others should still be able to
Check my suggestions, and if you still want/need assistance with a code, provide more details as to what you want to happen. I'm currently in the process of writing a Snakes & Ladders game for my nephews & nieces to play against each other on their home network, or with others using mIRC.
