I have a really weird problem. There are a lot of Fserves I can connect to at the moment. When I type the trigger I get a connection through DCC. But there are some specific Fserves I cannot connect to. When I type the trigger nothing happens. I tried to shut down my windows XP-SP2 firewall and then I can connect to these Fserves, but I don't want to shut it down completely. So what can I do to connect to this Fserve ? Do I need to open up a specific Port ? How do I know which Port this person is using for his Fserve ? Do I need to change my settings ?

I hope someone can give me some advice about this problem,

You can always ask the server what ports they are using to send on. Usually downloading isn't blocked by default fserv settings. Windows Firewall is junk, anyhow.

We can't really help with downloading issues per the forum's rules. mIRC is for chatting. FTP or P2P is much better for downloading from.
