New to XP and for some unexplained reason mIRC is now running always on top... i know i have seen the threads before but cant seem to find them.... any help is greatly appreciated!

right click on mirc in the taskbar and unselect "On Top".

Ok .... am i a moron or is this just an XP specific thing? The reason i ask is because it has NEVER happened before.
Oh and yes it worked perfectly.

Not XP specific .. it's been an option for a long time (win98 has the option as well). You (or someone else) must have accidentally clicked it.

you have to just hate when that happens, i couldnt get explorer to open into full screen for 3 days once, never did find the cause.

I heard they MS did some big show in china or japan some times ago, and the word "Microsoft" was also very largely written translated into the local dialect, it was quickly removed when officials discovered the translation read closer to "Welcome to the smallweak corperation show", you just have to laugh ya heart out at them for that.
