I have used mIRC 5.91 for a long time on my old computer. I just got my new computer back, but I have troubles with mIRC.

* Break: command halted (line 3, aliases.ini)

when i do a simple "/j channel"

The 3rd line in aliases.ini is of course "/j /join #$$1 $2-". I just re-installed mIRC 6.16 and the problems is still here.

If I do a: "/timer 1 1 echo -a heh" <- it works, but
"//timer 1 1 echo -a heh" <- wont

Any suggestions?

Well, with your Break error, I just use the alias /j /join #$1
and it works fine. Nothing to say about the /timer and //timer, though.

That wouldn't do the trick. You just limit the number of channels joining in noe commando, to just one channel.

I can add that rightclick to get the popup didn't work either.

I restarted mIRC and everything works. I've done that some times now, just waiting it to collapse completely any time soon...

IIRC, the Break Command Halted error was due to a stuck Scroll Lock key and that if you hit it a few times it would unlock. Try doing a search for all dates and boards for Break: Command Halted and see what you get.
