Working on an on text event and i see in some examples i have found here the ^ prefix being used.( on ^ *:Text: ) It seems to be doing for me what i need it to , but i have no clue what it does exactly. Can anyone tell me where i can find info on this prefix in the help file or explain its exact purpose to me?

It's main use is for halting mIRC's default output and can be found in /help halting default text

It executes before the 'normal' event.
