that is the message I get when I try to DCC something. In my local ident boxes there is nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Opened port 113. I dont kwno what else to do

try this while connected to the server

type //mode $me -x
with both //

then type /localinfo -u

I'm not sure where you want me to try that. In a channel or what. I am really new to irc.

ok under options and local info where it fills in your IP my 2 boes have nothing in them

type those two things anywhere in mIRC while connected
to a server .. the first disables host masking .. the 2nd
fills your ip and host by doing a /userhost .. then
try your dcc.

Edit: I'm not promising it will work but I have known
it to work on some networks that use host masking.
