i cant send or upload files...i have xp and i already configurated personal firewall with the dcc entries but the dcc send still doesn't work. I can get everything but not send...

Perhaps you're also behind a NAT scheme? Start "winipcfg" or "ipconfig" to find out what your local IP is, and then go to whatismyip.com to see that they match.
