Is there an option in mirc to minimize a channel window when we open it? Some channels I enter in are minimized, and others are not.

if you use "/join -n #channel", the channel window will be minimized when it opens.

i think you didn't understand what I said. I said that when I join a channel, its window automatically minimize and others don't.
I don't know why this happens but if you know please tell me.

There is an option to set channels to minimize on join by default, check that out, ALT+J - Edit/Add - Un/Check 'Minimize on Join'

i've tried what you said but it remains. i have the version 6.16 but this have been happening since I use the 6.12. i have no clue what is causing this.

Might it be a script?

Are you joining several channels at once? as the last to join will always be the active..

it was a line in the mirc.ini file.
like this:
#channel=0,691,0,369,0,1,0

I eliminated that line and now it's ok.

good catch wouldnt have thought of that to be honest.
