For some reason mIRC Will start to use 100 percent of my cpu then the memory usage will start to rise out of control...It'll be at say 10,000k then go higher and higher its been up to 70,000k,And once this happens im forced to End the process because i cant do [censored].Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong

this happened to me when someone hid a clone flooder inside a huge mp3 player ;-]
try unloading all scripts and try again.

No that wont help because im not using any scripts,Im just running the new version No scipts.Do you think running flood protection would work?

nope, sorry, not a clue what's wrong here.

Strange behavior can often be caused by viruses. All kinds of things can happen, programs closing by themselves, disk drives opening and probably programs that are the cause of the infection (mIRC is used in a lot of trojans for various reasons) can be using 100% CPU usage!
