its a error i only get with mirc, a clean mirc with scripts or no scripts i dont get this error with xchat or any other irc client, i like mirc the best tho... i would like to know the solution im using Windows 2000 Profesional SP4, on a 10mb cable internet connection...

NOTE!: please only reply if you know the solution/problem dont reply saying you have the same problem! i just want to know howto fix this! i dont wanna know your having the same problem

PS: I don't think you have a 10mbit cable connection, probably your cable modem is connected to a 10 mbit NIC.

your cable internet speed is much lower then 10mbit (most cable providers I know do 2mbit downstream)
