I am having problems with setting up the topic. For example my current topic in my channel is "Welcome to my channel. Enjoy Ur stay. News : pm op if you need help." Now, i just want to change the news only not the whole thing. I wanna use !topic no advertising. But not changing the whole topic, just the news section. So the new topic will be "Welcome to my channel. Enjoy Ur stay. News : no advertising!" someone help me?

Type //topic # Welcome to my channel. Enjoy Ur stay. News : no advertising!

Try this:
Add an alias, example:

/top /topic $1 Welcome to my channel. Enjoy Ur stay. News : $2-

then when you type /top #channel Only news!

You get topic like this : Welcome to my channel. Enjoy Ur stay. News : Only news!

Hope that helped!

lol, must have been half asleep when I read this. Yeah, milosh is correct. You could do an:

On *:TEXT:!topic*:#mychannel:/topic # Welcome to my channel. Enjoy Ur stay. News : $1-

Hope that completes any questions Milosh may have left you with. Good luck!

P.S. If you need to make it respond to you as well, this script must be run from another user OR add another line identical to that one that is On *:INPUT
