Hi ,
i've been told that somebody else can see how many queries i have open and read them . Is that true ?
If so , how to block it ?
Thanks anyway for the answer .
Bye ,
Liv
Of course it isn't true, the only way that would be possible is if the server logged messages sent to and from it, and there is nothing you can do to block that except use another server.
Did you load a script lately?
If so, check for unwanted "on text" and "on input" events.
Well, there is a way, you can sniff someone's packets (in LAN for example), as IRC is plain-text protocol
The most secure you can be on IRC is via a DCC chat. No one can just 'read' your query's and the text you send/receive w/out going through a LOT of trouble or getting you to load a script that does it.
/remote off
^^ turns off your script section. alt + r, and look through that entire section for any 'lines' that you, yourself didn't write or know what they do.
Thanks everybody for the infoz

hmm.. i think u can del all of remote in ur irc script .. or is u webnet network user .. u can join #admin.security ... or use /remote off or find on text for query like on:1:text:*:?: ..
for more u can join #mirc.script in webnet network

@#mirc.script
