ok im using the -portable switch and when i run it on the portable device on another computer it asks me to register. but on my main computer it doesnt so im assuming its in the registry but can i put it in the ini file or something or how is that working?

If you validate mIRC while it runs in portable mode the registration information will be stored in mirc.ini.
