I just wanted to know, does mirc have any spyware or adaware associiated with it?

I just wanted to find out if it was virus-free because I don't trust many p2p softwares!

There's a whole darn tootin' chat application bundled with mIRC! Not content with porn popups and nag screens, Khaled has thrown down the gauntlet to other P2P developers!













Though this may actually have something to do with it being a chat application, not P2P software.

also i am getting unable to resolve server, is there any way of connecting to any server?

Unable to resolve server means the server you're trying to connect to doesn't exist, is currently down, having problems, etc.

mIRC isn't p2p software though, it's a chat client

People here think that mIRC is a P2P program.... well get over it. It is made for chat.

If you afraid of being infected with trojans and spywares, then I suggest you don't to use mIRC or join IRC channels cause you seem to be a little n00bish.

Lots of newbies catch those torjans on IRC Channels just because someone tells them:

"Do you want to be an IRC OP ??"
"Do you want to download Matrix 2 ??"

Then write This....Bla Bla Bla.


Or people who enable the auto DCC get files from infected people and then they run it themselve and also get infected.
