I couldn't tell ya if I have seen mIRC in a movie. But I think telnet chatting has i'm not sure though sorry.

i thought they were comments or anothers opinion ...... simply put ur asking someone to answer u without speaking or typing ...... whatever the case may be ..... u asked and got a reply ....... maybe not the one u were wanting but everything just cant be as cut and dry as one would want i suppose

On a more serious note, I think mIRC appeared in a picture about a hacker or some related thing, I am sure there was a post on the old forum about it about 6 months ago.
