im new to using mirc and i usually use packetnews to find channels and files cause it was easy. but now its always down so i need a place i can go to search for files, does anyone know any websites like packetnews,
or does anyone know another way to find files and channels.?

When you are connected to an IRC server, type:

/LIST *XDCC*

and double-click one of the channels that comes up in the Channels List window to go to whichever channel tickles your fancy.
