Hi

I am running my own PsyBNC on a local server.
And i am trying to get vhosts to work..

What is needed for a vhost to work? What will i have to do?
Is Static IP needed?

I have my own domain. (mydomain.com)

Your shell provider may allow you to use a custom vhost. Contact the shell provider is look on their website for the plans/features they offer. Do note, it has nothing to do with mIRC incase you were under that impression.

you need to have your IP address reverse DNS to your domain name. you will have to contact your ISP and ask if they can set that up because there is NO OTHER WAY of doing it. However, your ISP will either charge you for it, or they will just refuse to do it.

U might aswell just rent a BNC shell, u can get them for like $3 a month.
