hey all...just have to say mIRC is GREAT!! i love it!! it has worked fine for me for quite a while now but the power went out earlier while i had it open and now whenever i go to open it i get the "this program has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience" error reporting thingy. this has never happened before. i tried reinstalling, twice. i even tried installing to a different directory. PLZ help, there are a lot of people i cant talk to without it....

Try the system restore function in Windows. If that dosn't work then you could have bigger problems, it's more likely to be a Windows issue rather than mIRC as you've tried reinstalling with the same result.

try new version of mIRC ?

you may have older version of mIRC.
