just to keep u up to date with a few things that have been happening on our network.

These have been set as onjoin to Server / Channels etc if u spot them anywhere please ignore they are not sent by and part of the network's staff.

i know this is commom sense with most ppl, but newbies may not.
any patch / Fix for mirc will only been on http://www.mirc.com

In my opinion, Tjerk should put a news about that on the main page for informing the users. Maybe it'll help a bit.
And Guyvah and other server admins can send global notices about that issue.
Maybe writing a warning to MOTD will help, too.
There are lots of complaints about that 'path' lie, like that one

well we've almost got rid of the ppl doing it, but i have my remotes setup - so if me or my bot get spammed with it, i Gline and send out a Global notice explaining what that notice is etc...:)

This is faily old news. The websites whom had these "mirc 6.13" files have their dns killed. Most no longer resolve, because the site itself takes responsibilty and really doens't need a bad name because of some "skript kiddie". >:D

I think brinkster and some other one were the major ones, and as I said, they have been killed.
