I'm not sure how this is caused, how to fix it either, but its bloody annoying.

Video explaining the problem is here .

I don't really understand what the problem is...

I see you have a right to left input box, and the cursor keeps changing positions or whatever?

please give some more info with the video

If it ain't broken, don't fix it!

Well, one minute the text input is left2right (as it should be) then something happens and its right2left input ...

Its happened a few times before.

I've found the method of how it happens but I see nothing in the documentation about it.

CTRL + left shift = left2right
CTRL + right shift = right2left

I beleive thats a windows feature that controls if text is left to right or vise versa, i think controled by what country support or soemthing u have loaded. (might be wrong here). So if it is then its simply mirc working as normal and windows effecting it.

Is it not the fonctionnality from Windows XP to choose the language your appliation can works ?
And is this not ALT+LEFT SHIFT and ALT+RIGHT SHIFT ??
Have you set several types ? (for me English, french, japanese)
You see the change by the two letters indicating the configuration country on the left of the tray icons. (for me EN, FR, JP)

for me, CTRL+RIGHT/LEFT SHIFT make nothing
