hey guys, im messing around with irc and this is the situation
in my teams priv chan i got an eggdrop bot with a quote system, and what i want to do is when people join the channel is to have myself saying !quote *theirnick* the *'s make the bot put out a random quote with their name in it
i know it's silly but it's what i want to do
on 1:JOIN:#nox-privy:/msg $chan !quote *$nick*
doesn't work, im guessing you cant have stuff close to the $nick ? or is there a way to get around it?
