Buzzen chat, like MSN Chat, is extremely difficult to write compatable scripts to use in mIRC, as the coding that these chats use does not match the standards used by most IRC networks, per RFC 1459 (if I'm remembering that number correctly.. I can't look it up right now).

I have tried to write scripts to make mIRC work with the Buzzen Chat a few times in the past, and most of the time I've been unsuccessful due to this incompatability.

Why not borrow some codes from other script writers who have made it possible and then modify them to suit your needs? I'm sure there are Buzzen scripts that include this ability to show webchat text colors in your mirc client.

I have no problems using or referring people to codes that others have written, but I'm not aware of any that do this.

If you know of scripters that have written codes for this type of thing, please provide proper references to their work.

Hi RusselB, I believe there is one scripter named Travis who has made this possible. If I'm not mistaken, it's as close as it gets to incorporate webchat text into mirc.

And at this link below, a little further down to post 9, and I quote: "Chatroom text still shows in the mirc channel window when using the webchat feature. - So now all the little moggy's can leave webchat on while they go away for hours and if they want to see anything they may have missed since webchat clears itself every 100 lines, they can turn webchat off while they look through the normal mirc channel window."
