Forums Connection Issues Connection Failed error message

hi, i used mirc in the past and ive just installed the latest version and the problem im having is that i can connect to the server and accept the file send from the user but then i get the message connection failed. ive tried this on loads of differnet files from different servers and users and i get the same result. any ideas???? thanx a lot

Firstly, note mIRC is not a mass file sharing program, make sure you read this thread.

It is impossible to help you if you do not provide specific information, i.e. what error messages you receive. Do make sure you 1) Read the sticky threads before posting, and 2) Use the Search feature before posting (and expand to '4 years' or '5 years' and 'All Forums').
