Right now it can look as if I am online when I am not. When I write something and try to send it I get the message that I am disconnected. This is something that had happen a while back without me knowing it. I believe it's the ping/pong that checks if I am online or not, but then is that it's not doing it often enough.

My question is if I can change the frequency of ping/pong (if that is what checks if I am online, upon idle).

The server sends the ping (request) and the client sends the pong (reply). This usually happens every 180 seconds when the client is idle. mIRC has no way of controlling the frequency of pings from the server. What you could do though, is reverse this by pinging the server, see if this helps.

Thanks for your answers in both my threads. Will try them both out. Much appreciated.

This unfortunetely did not work too good. I was thinking though, is it possible to make a script that sends a line into an empty channel, say every 15-20 sec? I mean if I am disconnected, it can't send the line and I will properly get disconnected and rejoin.
