Forums mIRC Help Chat beep?

Is there any way I can make mirc beep when someone types text when I have the window minimized? The way it is now I have to keep cheking, maximizing the main irc window to check.

Try:

ALT+O > Sounds

And check the box "Channel message".

Do be aware that if a beep gets too annoying (and it can if you get regular channel messages) then you can also set mIRC to flash in the taskbar rather than play a sound. Simply go to:

ALT+O > IRC > Options

And again, check "Channel message".
