Forums mIRC Help mirc and xp

I just installed win. xp and when I'm on mirc, I'll get a error screen popping up saying "mirc has caused an error and has to close, you will loose any unsaved iformation" (or something like that). Then I hit close, in the dialogue box and mirc closes. Anyone know why this is happening?
When I had 98, mirc ran fine. I have the latest version of mirc 6.03. Sometimes it lets me stay on for hours and sometimes it closes after 10 minutes. I'll restart mirc and then 10 minutes later it will happen again.

mIRC v6.03 has memory leaks however not suppose to cause an problem to that effect so quickly… If you hadn’t already you should do “Windows Updates”, but if you don’t mind first going to “Event Viewer” (Start Menu\Run) and Enter; eventvwr.msc /s
Then click “OK” button and select “Application” and scan through for anything in Reference to mIRC or most recent issue at hand and select the line and right click go-to Properties and Copy “Description:” informatics and post it on here...

This is the error I get in the event viewer,
"Faulty application mirc.exe, version 6.03.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x1055cf7a.

Uninstall mIRC, Remove all traces of it and Download Empty mIRC Version, mIRC Installation file from the official site www.mirc.com and Install and apply all your scripts. If it continues again make another post here......
