Hi guys.
I've noticed something a little weird lately, and I'm not sure if it's a setting in mirc I inadvertantly changed, or whether it's the network itself imposing a timer (if that's possible).

In short, if I right click someone and click Kick, Ban, I get this:

[01:22:38] * Timer 1 activated
[01:22:38] * ShiroKen sets mode: +b *!*@millions.of.mexicans
[01:22:40] <Gibby> we need to go wider
[01:22:42] * Timer 1 halted
[01:22:42] * qwok was kicked by ShiroKen (qwok)

Previously it used to just ban and kick in quick succession, but now it has this timer text.

Does anyone know if this is a network feature, or something I mirc I enabled by mistake? I've looked around but can't seem to find anything. The network I'm on is Rizon.

Many thanks

Any right-click options you have are done with a script. mIRC has some default menu items, but those are still scripts and can be changed. You maybe loaded a script or somehow changed mIRC default kick/ban alias.

Sorry, I should have explained better. When I said right click, I meant when you right click in the user list go to Control and see the kick/ban options there.

Yes, that is all through a script.

Thanks for that. I checked in %appdata%\mirc\scripts\popups.ini and I found this.
n14=.Ban, Kick:/ban $$1 2 | /timer 1 3 /kick # $$1
n15=.Ban, Kick (why):/ban $$1 2 | /timer 1 3 /kick # $$1 $$?="Reason:"

I got rid of the /timer parts and now it's back to normal.

I didn't realise it was a script, I thought that part was hard coded into the program and there was a config file somewhere that I had to change.
