Forums mIRC Help disconnection problem

i'm use mirc 6.12 and everything is almost fine
i can connect to sites but when i start to download a large file
fast, after awhile my whole computer disconnects with the internet
i using winxp and adsl too
i can't use the internet until i reboot.
i tested everything and i know it's a problem with mirc
does anyone know what's wrong, thanks.
also i didn't have this problem before.

Many people have reported a similar issue using WinXP. It's seems that it's not a mIRC problem (everything is fine under Win2000, 98 etc...)
Try disabling the XP Firewall, upgrade to SP1 and SP2.

okay, but i was always using winxp
and i didn't have this disconnetion problem before?
it just started a little while ago.
and if winxp is the problem then when i use other programs to download fast large file then why doesn't winxp disconnects
it seems mirc is the only problem?
and is there any other fixes
