Forums mIRC Help dcc chat beeping

Can someone tell me how to enable the beeping feature when a dcc chat window is opened. I've activated it but it doesn't work. There is no problem with the normal query window beeping or when I enable it on a channel but for some reason for dcc chat it is not working. Do I have to set something seperately for this one or not. I've checked the help file and the messages here on the board but can't find any info on it yet.

im sorry, i knew i forgot to check something for someone.

i have a sound set for chat, but i tested with event beep and it worked fine. Check in file/options/sounds. See "On Event, play sound" ? Use the arrow and go to chat, then click on the long box just under it until you see "event beep" then click OK.
