I just started using mirc and am trying to download files. I can get in to a channel and requset files by typing in this for example. /msg RMZ-DCC29 xdcc send #1. It looks as if it will start but then a message comes up saying "You have a DCC Pending. Set your client to receive the transfer. 30 seconds remaining until timeout" What does this mean? Please help.
Use the search feature at the top of this page, use the words 'DCC pending' as your search terms, all dates, all forums. Just be wary of downloading files over IRC.

hey there u read that mesage coz u type that dcc commad for 2 times so the 1st file is getting transfered and then when u type that command for 2nd time it warns either to disconnect or timeout and one more thing u should be in the dcccallow list of the user from wom u r tring to download files if the user has configured for high security most of the times download is not succesful this is all what i think i could be damn wrong
Just use the search feature we have type in the search field either DCC or DCC Pending You should get tons of information maybe even possibly the answer you are looking for.
