I had designed a toolbar and switchbar for mIRC 6.03 which both worked on that version, but since i downloaded mIRC 6.1 they both do not work, instead of both going to the top of my mIRC, they both goto the top of my active window, any ideas? thanks

Loctus, I believe they are referring to the incompatibilty of DLLs such as KTools and MDX, not what revisions mIRC has made to some code. The old DLLs do not work with version 6.1, and thus stopping them from achieving what tey are attempting.

It's kind of strange really, i have a switchbar which overlaps the original, and it uses ktools.dll and mdx.dll and the switchbar is perfect on mIRC 6.1, and most toolbars and statusbars people have designed, use the same dll's and everything gets messed up.

It's all normal, and i've already stated it, mIRC changed the API ID of the toolbar which was 200 and is now 0, so all Toolbar DLLs are broken until they recompile with the new toolbar ID.

Well, im 1 library off from compiling a newer ktools. It needs a library that the author didnt make that handles string. Perhaps I can find it, otherwise we are just going to have to wait >:\
