Forums mIRC Help DCC Question

My DCC upload speed jumps all over the place. Anywhere from 530b a sec to 35K/sec. I thought for sure it was my router so I went out and purchased a new one and I am still having the same problem. With any other application my upload stream is consistent and stays within a few K of the set cap. I've tried reinstalling mIRC but no luck. I'm using 6.16 right now.

Anybody have any idea what could possibly be causing this jumpy behavior?

Couple of months ago, I had the same "problem". It ended when I had to change my provider. After that I read in the news that my old provider tried to block some ports because of filesharing ...
