Forums mIRC Help broken pipe

I keep getting this error trying to download using xdcc and xdcc bots. Closing Connection: Connection Lost (Broken pipe) the pc im using is new and my old pc doesnt have this problem. im running xp and have an integrated intel pro NIC. any help would be gravy.

First time and last time i will make a post like this, mIRC isn't for filesharing, any problems you have with xdcc is your problem only, you won't get help here for it i'm afraid.

then why would mirc come with dcc???

because dcc is a protocol, all IRC programs have them.

well that sucks. all i wanted was some help but o well.

You can get help on DCC (if you're trading legitimate files, that is), but XDCC has got a reputation of being used for mass/illegal filesharing, hence why you won't get help.
